Reviewing Beauty Kitchen Hydra Intense Facial Oil

This blog is not sponsored, a paid ad in anyway. I bought this product myself (on sale) in my local Supermarket sometime in 2020/21.

If you have read many of my product reviews, especially beauty reviews, you'll see that I don't often review beauty related items... This is because I usually have a really minimalist beauty regime, don't buy new things very often and I seem to take a long time to use things up. So writing beauty product reviews doesn't happen very often as I prefer to use them up before reviewing, yet this one's a great one.

I use face oils regularly over winter when my skin is really thirsty. I have a few I use, including the Beauty Kitchen, Hydra Intense Facial Oil- Abyssinian Oil. It's a long title, so I am going to call it Hydra Oil from here on out.

Beauty Kitchen rates as Good on the Good On You App. It is organic and vegan, whilst the packaging is glass and plastic, on the bottle it does say you can return this to Beauty Kitchen to reuse. I haven't tried doing this process but the website does say you can still do this.

I have just finished my bottle of hydra oil, after years of use between other products. It's deeply nourishing, without being sticky or heavy on my skin. I wear this under my make up, it's very neutral, which is not always possible with some oils. I love using this as a base to do Gua Sha. The bottle is easy to use, it is not leakproof- it can't be chucked into make up bags or overnight bags. I did loose some product finding this out.

I believe this oil has actually now been discontinued from Beauty Kitchen (that's how long it's taken me to finish and review the product, you can't say it's not well tested). However, you can still buy it from stockists online, and, although I haven't tried any other Beauty Kitchen facial oils, I would certainly give them a go after the success of the Hydra oil.

My overall impression of this oil is that it's really great, a solid 8.7/10.
